Range of motion of the limbs is great and joints seem to have stops built in to prevent accidental hyper-extension (ankle, knee, hip, back, wrist, elbow, shoulder, neck). The fingers contain wire to allow posing but are not built for gripping/holding weighty objects. The doll will mimic almost any movement a human can make, obviously within reason. So far, it seems this doll is a well built quality item.
