The material seems to be a quality one, but I am no expert. There is a slight smell of plasticine/play-doh, but I guess it will go away after some time.

The machine is very quiet, though not completely silent. It seems to have more than enough power, though I haven't used [...]the larger Kong dildo yet that I purchased. I suspect the machine will have no problem ramming that larger one in and out either.
