The machine noise is very small, the sound of your toy going in and out is probably louder. Super sterdy and well built. I love the carrying case it comes with, very discrete. Pretty heavy, but thats because it's solid. Assembly and disassembly can be a little tedious, but that's the trade off of haveing a well built machine. It takes a few tries, but once you get the hang of it, you get use to putting it together and taking it apart. Also, it takes a few times to find you optimal stroke/depth level and angle, but thats understandable given the wide variety of ways you can set this thing up, which is one of this items greatest strengths.
